Croc champignon
Description
A so-called 'seitancroc' are two slices of seitan with some delicious sauce in between. These slices are coated with breadcrumbs and deep-fried Deze lapjes worden gepaneerd en gefrituurd so that they have a crispy crust.
There's also another variety: the croc tomato, with a fresh tomato sauce.

Seitan* (wheat flour*, shoyu*, ginger*, kombu, herbs*), sauce (wheat flour*, sunflower oil*, mushrooms*, spices*, sea salt), breadcrumbs*, sunflower oil*

Preparation
You only need to heat the crocs. You can do this by placing them in an oven (150°) for 12 minutes; of by heating it in a pan for 10 minutes on a medium fire. There's no need to use oil: the crocs release some oil while they are heated up. Of course, you can deep-fry them again, which is very fast, but that increases the fat content.
Crocs taste lovely with grains or potatoes, together with a fresh side salad.
